Towards Viksit Bharat 2047: Self-Reliant Sarojini Nagar and Women Empowerment through Tara Shakti Kendra
लेखक: डॉ. राजेश्वर सिंह (विधायक, सरोजनी नगर)
Empowering rural women is the foundational pillar of Viksit Bharat. Tara Shakti Kendras provide free industrial skill training and micro-enterprise support.
The contribution of women is fundamental to national progress. In alignment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of women-led development, we initiated the Tara Shakti Kendra movement in Sarojini Nagar.
Dedicated to the memory of my mother Smt. Tara Singh, these centers provide comprehensive industrial stitching, handicraft designing, and packaging skills with certification and market linkages.
With 12+ centers active and 500+ women empowered, our vision is to train over 5,000 women by 2027, making Sarojini Nagar a benchmark for women self-reliance in Uttar Pradesh.
